If you want to be part of this incredible journey Grant Thornton Greece has the opportunity for you. Our Financial Services department is continuously growing, supporting clients of all different sizes across many different sectors and is currently seeking to employ a Senior Financial Analyst.
The key responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst will include:
- Building and reviewing sophisticated financial models and presentations in the course of our ongoing projects;
- Financial analysis and financial modelling;
- Participating in business plan;
- Being part of a team that consults clients across all sectors and project manages transactions;
- Understanding the client’s business, profit drivers and trends;
- Interacting on a frequent basis with clients;
- Organizing and directing junior staff;
- Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures.
The key requirements of this role are:
- 2 to 4-year relevant experience, preferably in financial advisory projects (corporate finance, project finance, financial restructuring, due diligence, M&A) of an international audit/consulting firm;
- Excellent academic background, including a Bachelor’s degree from a top tier university in Accounting / Finance / Banking / Economics, or other related field with a strong quantitative focus;
- A Masters’ degree in Accounting / Finance / Auditing / Business, or other related field with strong business and quantitative focus will be considered an asset;
- Excellent written and verbal skills both in Greek and English;
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office packages, in particular MS Excel and PowerPoint;
- Professional qualification or part qualification (ACA/ACCA or CFA) will be considered an asset;
- Knowledge of IFRS and Greek GAAP;
- Ability to work in a team and to tight deadlines;
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and project management skills.
