Job Purpose:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and document detailed business requirements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
System Design and Documentation:
- Work closely with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Create comprehensive documentation including system design, data models, and process flows to guide development teams.
Technology Solutions Evaluation:
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that align with business goals and industry best practices.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses and impact assessments for proposed IT solutions.
Project Management:
- Facilitate the end-to-end project lifecycle management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of IT projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Identify potential risks associated with IT projects and propose effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to banking IT systems.
Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans to validate that IT solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Work closely with QA teams to resolve any issues identified during testing.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring a shared understanding of project goals and milestones.
- Provide regular updates and status reports to senior management.
Maintains a high standard of quality for all deliverables
The key requirements of this role are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant field.
- 4-5 years’ experience in technology business analysis. Experience in banking operations and financial services will be consider as an asset.
- Experience in process documentation and analysis, including specification of system requirements for business processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and business processes.
