The role in more detail:
As a Senior / Supervisor in Advisory Services in Heraklion Crete, you will have the opportunity to engage in challenging projects, providing financial advisory services that involves business plans, due diligences, valuations, M&A transactions and RRF and Investment Law projects. Collaborating with a diverse team of experts, you will offer critical insights and support to clients across various industries. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
As part of the Advisory Crete team, your role will involve developing extensive and in-depth financial analysis and market research, in-depth analysis of historical financial figures, identifying key business drivers and applying critical thinking in order to arrive to a normalized picture of the company’s financial state and preparing detailed presentations. Additionally, you will have the chance to enhance your skills through continuous learning and professional development, positioning yourself for growth and advancement in your career.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Designing and building complex 3-statement financial models to forecast future performance.
- Identifying and evaluating potential funding sources and opportunities, including Recovery & Resilience Fund subsidized loans.
- Applying various valuation methodologies such as Discounted Cash Flows (DCF), Comparable Companies’ Multiples, and Comparable Transactions.
- Analyzing historical financial statements, to understand trends and key drivers.
- Conducting industry and market research to gather relevant data and assess business viability and growth potential.
- Performing sensitivity scenarios and providing insights on the impact of key assumptions.
- Preparing detailed reports and presentations.
The key requirements of this role are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or Economics with an excellent academic record.
- Master’s degree or relevant professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CFA) in any of the above-mentioned disciplines will be considered a strong asset.
- In depth understanding of financial accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Knowledge of RRF regulation will be highly regarded.
- Problem-solving, analytical, presentation, and report-writing skills.
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in business plans/restructuring, due diligence or valuations within an audit/consulting firm.
- Fluency in Greek and English, both orally and verbally.
- Military obligations fulfilled (if applicable).
