The key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Lead ESG & Sustainability projects in Banking sector, managing teams and ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Develop sustainability reports under international standards (ESRS, GRI, SASB) and oversee client requests
- Conduct market research, create presentations, and select ESG data for reports and ratings
- Contribute to thought leadership, driving business development with ESG expertise
- Stay updated on global ESG trends, standards, and certifications, sharing insights with leadership
- Support EU Taxonomy implementation, data management, and Green Asset Ratio disclosures
- Coordinate supervisory disclosures (CSRD, CSDDD, SFDR) and ensure data quality control for all ESG submissions
- Participate in Pillar 3 ESG data disclosures (Scope 1, 2, 3, GAR, BTAR, climate/social risk) and conduct internal ESG training
To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):
- Experience in similar position, preferably in a consulting firm/ bank or a ESG/Sustainability division of an organization in Greece or abroad (the level depends of each candidate's experience)
- A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental / Economic / Business Administration / Finance and Banking / International Studies
- Knowledge of ISO management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
- Knowledge of International Standards (such as ESRS, GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, EcoVadis, United Nation Global compact, ISO 26000, OECD guidelines, AA1000)
- Any related certification will also be highly appreciated
- Fluent written and spoken English essential, knowledge of other languages a plus
- Expertise In use of Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Well-organized, structured and meticulous
- Thorough and methodical approach to work
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a desire to work with diverse cultures
- Military Obligations fulfilled (if applicable)
