The role in detail
We are seeking a motivated Public Tender Associate to join our team, focusing on managing and coordinating public procurement procedures. This role involves identifying tender opportunities, preparing and submitting bid documentation, and collaborating with internal teams and public bodies to ensure compliance, accuracy, and competitiveness throughout the tendering process.
Duration: 2-year contract
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Monitor public tender portals and identify opportunities relevant to the company’s services/products.
- Analyze tender specifications and requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather required documentation.
- Prepare and submit complete, accurate, and timely bid proposals.
- Maintain and update tender documentation databases.
- Communicate with public authorities regarding clarifications or follow-ups.
- Ensure adherence to legal and contractual obligations throughout the bidding process.
To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):
- 2-3 years of experience in preparing public tenders
- Knowledge of the legal framework of public contracts
- BS degree preferably in Legal or other relevant fields
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent English & Greek writing and oral skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills - attention to detail
- Flexibility and strong feeling of responsibility
- Ability to interact with numerous project stakeholders.
- Experience of National System of Electronic Public Procurement Platform (ΕΣΗΔΗΣ)
- Ability to work well under time pressures and to prescribed deadlines
