The role in detail
As part of Grant Thornton’s IT department, the Assistant IT Network Administrator will be instrumental in maintaining the firm’s technology infrastructure and supporting its people. The role involves delivering first-level support across the organization, monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance, and implementing updates and upgrades to safeguard efficiency and reliability. The successful candidate will also train users on hardware, software, and office automation tools, while actively contributing to infrastructure monitoring and company-wide projects. This position is a key enabler of Grant Thornton’s commitment to operational excellence and to making a difference every day for both internal teams and clients.
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
- University Degree in Computer Sciences or relevant discipline
- 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
- ITIL® certification (Foundation level or above) is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft products (O365, Exchange, AD, SQL)
- Experience with virtualization (VW/Hyper-V), Storages, Advance Endpoint Protection software, VOIP, Firewalls and network administration / installation and Software deployment
