The key responsibilities of this role will include:
Compilation of separated and consolidated financial statements and reporting packages
Month‑end and year‑end closing activities
Providing accounting advisory support, including implementation assistance with IFRS
Implementing new accounting standards, reviewing of contracts for accounting implications
Supporting on accounting treatment of complex transactions
Implementing information systems in financial statements compilation and consolidation projects
Designing and implementing cost accounting
To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):
Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience
Extensive consolidation experience in large Groups, with the capability to confidently handle and manage the process end‑to‑end when required
Involvement in month‑end and year‑end closing processes across multiple entities
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, or other related field.
ACCA/ACA qualifications courses or ΙΕΣΟΕΛ / ΜΕΤΚΕΛ postgraduate qualifications (in progress or completed)
Commitment to providing quality work and building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
Experience of working with multiple clients
Working in teams of qualified and highly motivated professionals
Effective communication and rapport building skills
Excellent analysis and data reporting skills
A good coaching and mentoring skills for younger team members
Ability to develop and deliver high quality services and solutions
A customer-centric approach
An extremely high work ethic and critical thinking
Motivation for career progression and development
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
