The role in detail

We are looking for a MLOps/DevOps Engineer to support the development, deployment, and scaling of modern cloud-native and AI-driven systems. This role sits at the intersection of Software Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, and AI/ML operations. You will work closely with Engineering, AI, and Data teams to ensure that applications and ML models are reliable, scalable, and production-ready.

This is a hands-on role with strong growth potential toward Senior DevOps, MLOps Specialist, or Platform Engineer positions.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Support CI/CD pipelines for application and service deployments (Azure DevOps)
• Assist in managing cloud infrastructure (primarily Azure)
• Work with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Support deployment and lifecycle management of ML/AI models

• Support deployment of React/Spring boot applications
• Work with LLM-based systems (APIs, RAG pipelines, integrations)
• Improve system reliability through monitoring and alerting tools
• Contribute to logging, observability, and incident response processes
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and AI Engineers
• Support integration of backend systems with AI components
• Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to stakeholders
• Identify inefficiencies and proactively propose automation solutions

To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):

• BSc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

• Up to 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Familiarity with deployments, APIs, or pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Docker and exposure to Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Understanding of Linux environments and scripting (Bash/Python)

• Strong problem-solving mindset

• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-evolving environment

• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams

• Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

• Proactive attitude with strong ownership mentality

Strong Assets:

• Understanding of LLM concepts (APIs, prompt-based systems, RAG)

• Exposure to ML workflows or AI systems

• Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor)

• Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
