The role in detail
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Supply Chain Consultant to join our Supply Chain & Operations Transformation team, with a strong focus on supply chain management and operations. The position focuses on Supply Chain Optimization, and operational performance improvement, supporting clients across multiple industries. You will contribute to high-impact projects involving end-to-end supply chain transformation, working alongside experienced consultants to design and implement data-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, service levels, and cost performance.
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
Support the design and optimization of production planning processes (forecasting, MPS, MRP, capacity planning)
Analyze and improve logistics and distribution operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management
Assist in data collection, analysis, and modelling (e.g., demand patterns, inventory levels, service KPIs)
Contribute to the development of supply chain strategies and operating models
Participate in process mapping and gap assessments to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
Support the implementation of planning tools, WMS, and digital solutions
Prepare client deliverables, reports, and presentations in a structured, executive-level format
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, production, finance, IT)
To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):
1–3 years of experience, ideally in Consulting (preferred), or Supply chain, logistics, or production planning roles
Academic background in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related), or Business, Finance, or Applied Sciences
MSc in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing Systems, or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (knowledge of BI tools is a plus)
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is considered an advantage
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-based environment
Analytical thinking & attention to detail
Structured problem-solving approach
Strong Communication and presentation skills
Team collaboration and stakeholder engagement
Results-oriented mindset with focus on impact
