The role in detail
We are seeking an Expenses & Accounts Payable Associate to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the company's expense management, accounts payable processes, and financial administration activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of payments and reporting requirements.
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
Processing and verifying vendor invoices, expense claims, and supporting documentation.
Managing expense protocols, approval workflows, and payment coordination.
Monitoring travel, mobility, accommodation, leasing, and other company-related expenses.
Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related inquiries.
Monitoring expense limits and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Performing MyData-related checks and ensuring compliance with accounting and tax requirements.
To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
min 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, Finance Operations, or a similar role.
Familiarity with invoice processing, expense management, and financial administration processes.
Knowledge of MyData requirements and Greek accounting practices will be considered an asset.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
Experience with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), will be considered a strong asset.
Good understanding of financial controls and documentation requirements.
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
