Grant Thornton’s Outsourcing Services practice is continuously growing, offering high quality services to our clients, committed to “making a difference every day” and is currently seeking to employ a Compliance Officer for a corporate client.
Role
A. Monitoring & Remediation
- Communicate and collect all necessary documents to perform periodically risk assessment and monitoring – preferably such tasks shall be fulfilled based on administrative, number-based (such as economics and analytics), commercial (such as business studies) or law prior experience
- Document, evidence and clearly present all findings identified through the monitoring activities, highlighting trends and potential risks to the business
- Liaise with key departments and Risk Owners to document, monitor and review short term and long term remediation plans
- Coordinate/deliver training on findings identified including refresher of existing policies.
B. Administrative Support
- Attend, along with the Compliance Head, relevant Committees and ERC meetings, prepare and circulate agendas and presentations (extensive knowledge of Excel/PowerPoint software is needed), take meeting minutes, and follow up with relevant persons on the implementation of decisions taken in the meetings; therefor, project management skills with planning abilities and attention to the detail are necessary
- Align with internal stakeholders and schedule ad hoc meetings
C. Controls/tools
• Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
• Revise approval tools taking into consideration risks and/or gaps identified
D. New Policies
• Support in the roll out of new policies and guidelines, such as Interactions with Public Officials, Conflict of interest, Professional Practices Policy and Anti-Bribery Policy- excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Greek are essential.
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration/ Political Science and Public Administration / Finance or relevant field
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Experience in a pharmaceutical company will be consider a strong asset
- Excellent command of English
- Excellent knowledge of MS office and especially Excel
