The role in detail:
We are seeking a skilled Data Reporting Specialist (Microsoft Fabric & Power BI) to join our team and contribute to a critical migration project, transitioning SSAS-based reports to Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in BI reporting, data modeling, and Microsoft technologies. You will collaborate closely with client teams, providing expertise in Power BI, SSAS analysis, and Fabric environments to ensure the successful adaptation of reports and data models.
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Documenting existing BI reports, identifying required tables, fields, and measures
- Analyzing SSAS structures, including table relationships, connectivity, and measures
- Assisting in the design and development of data models and Data Marts in Microsoft Fabric
- Adapting and migrating existing reports to the new Fabric-based environment
- Performing thorough testing and validation of reports and data accuracy
- Providing reporting support and troubleshoot issues throughout the migration process
- Collaborating onsite with client teams to align reporting requirements and ensuring successful delivery
Who You Are: Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in BI reporting and data modeling
- Ηands-on experience in Power BI (reports, dashboards, semantic models)
- Basic knowledge of SSAS (Tabular and/or Multidimensional models)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Data Mart structures
- Experience working in data migration or report adaptation projects
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with readiness to work onsite
- Ability to manage multiple reporting tasks and deliver high-quality results
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Military Obligations preferably completed (if applicable)
Bonus points:
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
- Other relevant certifications in BI and Microsoft reporting technologies
