The role in detail
Grant Thornton always focuses on providing clients with value-added, forward-looking advice. Within our Financial Services team, the Business Consulting team bring together deep industry knowledge and hands-on expertise in business analysis, technology transformation, and project management. Our professionals work side by side with financial institutions to design and implement innovative solutions that optimize operations, enhance customer experience, and accelerate digital transformation.
We’re looking for a Business Analyst passionate about operational efficiency and process re-engineering, who will help transform the way leading financial institutions work.
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)

Design process flows & mockups that bring ideas to life.

Work on projects spanning branches, back-office, call centers, and more.

Analyze policies, procedures & regulations and convert them into actionable requirements.

Collaborate with developers, testers, designers, and other analysts.

Ensure solutions align with regulatory standards and deliver real value to users.

Lead or participate in client workshops and present insights with confidence.
- Contribute to a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):
- 3–6 years of experience in business consulting/analysis.

Degree in Business, Finance, IT or related field (MSc/MBA is a plus).

Proven skills in BRDs, process design, Visio.

Strong knowledge of banking operations and how to improve them.

Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.

Basic understanding of software, mobile apps, and web services.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team.

Client-facing experience with confidence in leading workshops.
