About Deals:
Our Deals Services team is a leading provider of Corporate Finance, M&A advisory, and Capital Raising services in Greece. We support high-profile transactions across a wide range of industries, delivering strategic advice and hands-on execution at every stage of the deal process. Our experienced professionals work with a diverse client base — including large Greek and multinational corporations, SMEs, private equity funds, banks, and institutional investors — helping them unlock value and achieve their strategic objectives.
The role in more detail:
As an M&A Associate, you will play a key role in the execution of complex transactions, supporting clients throughout the full deal lifecycle. You will work on high‑impact projects, providing analytical and strategic insights across buy‑side and sell‑side mandates. Collaborating closely with senior team members and cross‑functional experts, you will help deliver high‑quality advisory services to clients across diverse industries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a driven finance professional to deepen their expertise in mergers and acquisitions within a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
In this position, you will be responsible for performing detailed financial analysis, conducting industry and company research, preparing valuation materials, and building robust financial models to support transaction decisions. You will contribute to the development of client deliverables—including information memoranda, management presentations, and pitch materials—while applying various valuation and deal‑analysis techniques. In addition, you will gain exposure to all phases of the M&A process, from initial market mapping and deal sourcing to due diligence, negotiation support, and closing. With continuous learning and hands‑on project experience, you will build a strong foundation for long‑term career growth within the deal advisory space.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Building and maintaining transaction-focused financial models, including fully integrated 3‑statement models, LBO models, and scenario analyses to support deal evaluation.
Applying valuation techniques such as DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, and transaction‑specific analyses to assess deal attractiveness and pricing.
Conducting detailed financial statement analysis to evaluate historical performance, identify trends, and determine key business and value drivers relevant to the transaction.
Utilizing financial and market databases to gather insights on capital markets activity, transaction benchmarks, and industry dynamics to support deal positioning.
Performing industry, market, and competitive research to assess the strategic fit, growth potential, and risks associated with target companies.
Preparing client-ready materials including valuation outputs, pitch decks, investment memoranda, management presentations, and other transaction documentation.
The key requirements of this role are:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or Economics with an excellent academic record.
Master’s degree or relevant professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CFA) in any of the above-mentioned disciplines will be considered a strong asset.
2+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in M&As, financial modelling within an audit/consulting firm.
Familiarity and a good understanding of basic accounting concepts (knowledge of IFRS is considered a plus).
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Problem-solving, analytical, presentation, and report-writing skills.
Fluency in Greek and English, both orally and verbally.
Military obligations fulfilled (if applicable).
