The role in detail

We are looking for an Enterprise AI & Data Architect to join our Technology team and Architecture Guild. In this role, you will design and lead enterprise-scale architectures that enable advanced data platforms and AI-driven solutions. You will play a key role in shaping how data flows across enterprise systems and how AI capabilities are embedded into modern technology ecosystems.

You will collaborate closely with Data Engineers, AI Engineers, Cloud Architects and business stakeholders to design scalable, secure and real-time architectures that support analytics, automation and intelligent applications. This role combines data architecture expertise, modern integration patterns and AI platform thinking, contributing to the development of next-generation technology solutions for complex enterprise environments.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Design and define enterprise-level architectures for AI-enabled solutions and data platforms
• Design end-to-end data flows and integration architectures across complex enterprise systems
• Architect scalable data pipelines, ingestion frameworks and data platforms
• Design Change Data Capture (CDC) and real-time data synchronization architectures
• Define architectures for data lakes / lakehouse platforms and modern analytics ecosystems
• Design event-driven and streaming architectures for real-time data processing
• Architect infrastructure required for AI model deployment, inference pipelines and intelligent applications
• Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to operationalize AI use cases in production
• Define architecture standards, reference architectures and best practices as part of the Architecture Guild
• Provide architecture guidance in large-scale transformation programs and complex technology initiatives
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures

To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

• 8+ years of professional experience in roles such as Data Architect, Solution Architect, Cloud Data Architect, or Principal Data Engineer

• Strong experience designing enterprise-scale data architectures

• Deep understanding of data integration architectures

• Strong expertise in data pipelines and distributed data systems

• Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) patterns

• Experience designing streaming and real-time data architectures

• Strong knowledge of data lake / lakehouse platforms and modern data platforms

• Experience with cloud data ecosystems (e.g., Azure Data Platform or similar environments)

• Understanding of AI/ML pipelines and integration of AI models into enterprise systems

• Strong analytical thinking and architectural design capabilities

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams
