The key responsibilities of this role will include:
Support energy market analysis, modelling, optimization and forecasting projects
Collect, process, validate and analyze energy market, operational and economic data
Develop and maintain quantitative models, analytical tools and forecasting methodologies
Contribute to electricity and gas market research, regulatory analysis and policy-related studies
Support scenario analysis, market simulations, cost-benefit assessments and energy system optimization exercises
Prepare reports, presentations and data-driven insights for internal teams and clients
Work closely with senior consultants and project managers in the delivery of energy-related advisory projects
Support the preparation of proposals and the acquisition process for new projects
The key requirements of this role are:
University degree in Engineering, Energy, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Economics or another relevant quantitative discipline
A postgraduate degree in Energy, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Economics or a related field will be considered an asset
Recent graduate or candidate with up to two years of relevant professional or academic experience
Strong academic background in quantitative analysis, mathematical modelling, optimization, statistics or forecasting
Diploma thesis or master’s dissertation related to energy market analysis, energy system modelling, optimization, forecasting or another relevant quantitative energy topic will be considered an asset
Good understanding of electricity and/or gas markets and an interest in the Greek and European energy sector
Knowledge of programming or data analysis tools, such as Python, R, MATLAB, SQL or similar, will be considered an asset
Knowledge of energy market modelling, optimization or simulation software will be considered an advantage
Strong ability to process, structure and analyze large datasets
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and confidence in working with quantitative information
Excellent command of spoken and written Greek & English
Military obligations fulfilled
