The role in detail
The Billing & Accounts Receivables associate will join the Finance Department and support the day-to-day billing operations of the company. The role focuses on client invoicing, billing administration, accounts receivable monitoring, and the preparation of financial information that supports effective project and client management.
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
Support the end-to-end service invoicing process for clients, ensuring accuracy and timely invoice issuance.
Assist in gathering, reviewing, and validating billing information related to projects and client engagements.
Monitor customer accounts and outstanding balances (accounts receivable).
Support collection activities by following up on outstanding invoices and maintaining relevant records.
Review invoices and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with VAT requirements and internal policies.
Assist in the preparation of billing reports and financial information for Project Managers and Department Heads.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Finance team members to resolve billing discrepancies and client-related billing inquiries.
To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):
1-2 years of relevant experience in Billing, Finance Administration, Accounts Receivables, or a similar role.
Previous experience in a consulting, professional services, or project-based environment will be considered an asset.
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Basic understanding of invoicing processes, VAT requirements, and financial administration.
Knowledge of IFRS and Greek GAAP will be considered an asset.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, will be considered an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
Good knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Department Heads, and Finance team members.
