The role in detail
We are seeking a Presales Professional managing IT bids, working with internal teams and external partners to meet tender requirements. You'll craft tailored proposals, create technical solutions, and organize project details while keeping an eye on risks and stakeholders. The perfect fit would be someone with bid management experience, technical writing skills, and a knack for collaboration!
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Manage ΙΤ bids, coordinating internally with other departments and externally with partners & vendors
- Analyzing and understanding the requirements of customers as detailed in the tendering specifications (RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and Public Tenders)
- Organizing documentation, compiling and providing relevant project references
- Developing tailored proposals, preparing technical solutions, methodologies, quality assurance plans, project management strategies, team profiles, CVs etc.
- Collecting and reviewing information related to the tender’s subject, including risk analysis, project stakeholders, assumptions, and success factors, etc.
- Creating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), estimating effort for work packages, and preparing project time plans etc.
To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):
- A University Degree in Computer Science, preferably from a Polytechnic School or Technical University
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Bid management, proposal, tender writing
- The ability to write technical content in simple, non-technical language that is easily understood by a non-IT audience
- Familiarity with IT related services such as IT security, IT support, cloud services, IT Training, IT Consulting, etc. will be considered as asset
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio)
- Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoke
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail
- Flexibility, responsibility, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
