The role in detail

This is an outsourced  role which focuses on building and managing end-to-end ETL workflows using SSIS to support reliable, secure, and efficient data movement across systems. You’ll own the creation, scheduling, and monitoring of data flows, ensuring that transfers meet business requirements for accuracy, timing, and structure. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll validate mapping logic, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve performance and resilience. This position is ideal for a detail-driven professional who understands data architecture, thrives on clean execution, and knows that good ETL is invisible when done right.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Building, scheduling, and monitoring SSIS packages for system data transfers.
  
• Ensuring secure, accurate data movements between internal and external systems.
  
• Coordinating with other departments to validate mapping rules, data accuracy, and scheduling needs.
  
• Troubleshooting and enhancing ETL flows to optimize performance and reliability.

To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):

• 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience with SSIS, SQL Server, and ETL frameworks.
  
• Experience with data flow scheduling and monitoring.
  
• Familiarity with enterprise data architecture and system-to-system integrations.
  
• Comfort working with multiple file formats and transfer protocols.
• Detail-obsessed mindset with strong data integrity awareness.
• Team-oriented, able to facilitate cross-team collaboration.
• Methodical approach to troubleshooting and monitoring.
• Documentation skills and version control discipline.
