The role in detail

This is an outsourced role which includes overseeing application maintenance, troubleshooting, and patching, while acting as a single point of contact for both internal business and IT teams during incidents or enhancements. The position also involves coordinating with vendors and technical teams for timely issue resolution and upgrades, as well as monitoring application performance, usage, and availability to ensure optimal service delivery.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Managing and maintaining the lifecycle of enterprise applications (support, patching, troubleshooting).
• Acting as a single point of contact for internal business and IT teams during incidents and enhancements.
• Coordinating with vendors and tech teams for issue resolution and upgrades.
• Monitoring application performance, usage, and availability.

To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):

• 2-5 years in application management, support, or operations.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, SQL, scripting, or change control.
• Experience in coordinating with both technical and business units.
• Tool-agnostic – Jira, ServiceNow, etc. all acceptable.
• Strong service orientation and incident resolution mindset.
• Ability to prioritize, document, and manage multiple app-related tasks.
• Effective communicator between IT and non-technical teams.
• A calm, systematic approach to issue escalation and resolution.
