The role in detail
As a Financial Transformation Advisor, you will support organizations in optimizing and transforming their finance functions by analyzing end-to-end finance processes and identifying improvement opportunities through modern technologies and best practices. You will participate in ERP implementations (primarily SAP), contribute to the design of dashboards, KPIs, costing models, and controlling frameworks, and support financial planning, budgeting, and reporting activities.
Working closely with clients and cross-functional teams, you will analyze financial and industry data, prepare high-quality presentations, and deliver insights that support informed decision-making. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting and finance principles, and a client-centric mindset, who is eager to grow within a dynamic, collaborative consulting environment.
The key responsibilities of the Financial Transformation Advisor will include:
Understand and record of Finance Processes for Finance Transformation assessments
Recommend improvement opportunities in Finance processes affecting Business Operating Cycles adopting emerging technologies for an end-to-end optimization
Participate in ERP implementation workshops (primarily SAP) to gather detailed business requirements and prepare high-quality materials for the Business Blueprint phase.
Design management Dashboards including a set of KPIs, understanding CFO’s needs and agenda topics for instant and useful information
Participate in chart of accounts design and hierarchies and provide experience in Financial Statements line items
Participate in the design of costing models including cost pools, principles, rules of allocating expenses and management reporting presentation for results
Collect, assimilate, and analyze financial data, using standard tools and data visualizations
Design the controlling framework, including financial planning and analytics (FP&A) and budgeting,
Compile, analyze, and report economic and industry data to help clients make informed decisions
Prepare detailed presentations and marketing material for client presentations
Embrace the role of a structured yet coachable team player open to continued education and training from other team members
Manage own work against project plan to ensure a superior client experience
The key requirements of this role are:
Minimum 1-3 years of relevant professional experience
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field/ discipline providing experience in :
Finance processes analysis and reengineering
Accounting and costing principles
IFRS standards implementation
Auditing background and team coordination
Financial Statements understanding and management reporting requirements
Cash flow and working capital requirements
ACCA/ACA qualifications courses or ΙΕΣΟΕΛ / ΜΕΤΚΕΛ postgraduate qualifications (in progress or completed) will be considered as an asset
Knowledge in Finance systems (ERPs eg SAP SoftOne and BI tools)
Commitment to providing quality work and building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
Experience of working with multiple clients
Working in teams of qualified and highly motivated professionals
